twenty one pilots announce new single, Overcompensate

Updated: New album Clancy has just been announced, and will arrive on May 17!

Original story: In less than 24 hours, twenty one pilots will have released a brand-new single called Overcompensate!

Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun have just taken social media to confirm the release of their new song, with an accompanying music video also dropping at the same time (Thursday, February 29 at 1pm ET / 6pm GMT).

And judging by this 20-second first look, it seems as though we’re going to be diving in headfirst to a whole new era and storyline, with Tyler showing off a shaved head, Blurryface-esque paint on his hands and neck, a new balaclava, and the same red stripes that the band recently updated all their album covers with.

Of course, last week they confirmed that they’d be “returning” the world of Trench this time around, with the frontman also revealing that, “I am Clancy.” We can’t wait to see where it all goes…
