Bring Me The Horizon tease epic new Throne remix for Ghost Of Yōtei
Bring Me The Horizon appear to be teaming up with videogame Ghost Of Yōtei for a stunning new remix of Throne.
A year on from their formation, political noise-makers teethin have just released their debut five-track EP.
Rising band teethin – who combine punk, rock and techno – have just unveiled their debut EP, Greed Between The Lines.
Released today, October 3 via Silent Kid Records, the five-track record hears the band – James Minas (vocals), Emily Kocan (synths/guitar), Rachel Crabbe (bass), Greg Davies (drums), Don Phythian (DJ/guitar) – reflecting on the way humans behave in the world today, both in real-life and of course online.
“So much shit happens in public, on transport or on the internet, and it’s like, ‘Why did no-one step in?’” James says of the questions that fuel teethin’s lyrics. “We’re all very much of the mindset that, if we see some kind of madness unfolding right in front of us, we just shrug and go, ‘It’s not my problem.’”
In terms of how this comes out in their sound, the vocalist enthuses: “What I love about teethin is the collaborative nature of it, this constant shape-shifting vibe. We tend to switch instruments around a bit so Don might be playing guitar while triggering samples, or Emily’s playing a riff – it’s really immersive and we’ve all been writing together as well. It’s very exciting.”
