Spiritbox, Knocked Loose, Green Day, Pearl Jam and more nominated for GRAMMYs
The 2025 GRAMMY nominations are here, with Spiritbox, Knocked Loose (featuring Poppy), Green Day, Pearl Jam, IDLES, Metallica and more all up for awards.
There's been a bit of a mix up and some Bey fans are in for a nice surprise!
Beyoncé is probably the biggest global superstar in the world, her 2016 smash album, Lemonade, came out on vinyl this week, but some unsuspecting fans who bought the LP were left with a surprise after side A of the disc was playing something they did not expect.
Due to a printing error, side A was mispressed with tracks from the Canadian punk band, Zex's 2017 album Uphill Battle.
In a statement posted on Pitchfork, Columbia records explained:
"Due to human error at the Celebrate Records plant in Germany, which Sony uses to manufacture vinyl, a small amount of the European run of the Beyoncé Lemonade vinyl included music from Canadian punk band, ZEX, on Side A. Beyoncé and ZEX were not aware of or responsible for the mispress. Fans who purchased the vinyl will be refunded and given a replacement copy. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused."
Maybe the person who did this was a secret ZEX fan, or maybe there's a ZEX member working at the pressing plant? Either way, there's a few pop fans out there in for a lovely treat when they open their shiny new Lemonade vinyl.
Up the punx! Listen to Zex's Uphill Battle below:
