Hear Fontaines D.C.’s surprise cover of Can You Feel My Heart: “It’s a moody, beautiful song”

Irish post-punks Fontaines D.C. have shared a surprise new cover of Bring Me The Horizon’s Can You Feel My Heart.

The band tackled Oli Sykes and co.’s 2013 Sempiternal classic (which in more recent years went incredibly viral on TikTok) for triple j’s Like A Version series, also combining it with Nirvana’s Heart-Shaped Box.

“It was Grian [Chatten, vocalist]’s idea initially,” explains guitarist Conor Curley of the rendition. “I think the sound of that song, the kind of electronic elements and just the general vibe reflects stuff we were touching on our last album Romance [2024] so it kind of seemed like a good place to start. And it’s a moody, beautiful song.”
